How can I check if USCIS has my correct address?<\/strong> Sign in to your USCIS online account and compare the address on file with where you live now. Then check the address printed on your latest USCIS notice. If either one is out of date, update it right away. Federal law<\/a> requires noncitizens in the United States, except A and G visa holders and visa waiver visitors, to report an address change within 10 days, even when no application is pending. Why the Address USCIS Has on File Matters<\/h2>\n

USCIS mails notices, requests for evidence, interview letters, and decisions to the address it has on record. If that address is wrong, you may never see the notice. A missed notice can mean a missed deadline or a missed interview. 8 C.F.R. 265.1<\/a> requires noncitizens in the United States who must register to report each change of address within 10 days, following USCIS instructions.
